| B & H Worldwide gains Authorised Economic Operator accreditation
In April 2008 B & H Worldwide became one of the first
five commerical enterprises in Europe to be accredited by HM Revenue
and Customs as an
Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). The European Union's AEO programme
should be seen within the global
context as part of a worldwide initiative to secure and facilitate
trade within the global supply chain.
This formal recognition will give B & H's customers the scope for faster
transactions and movement of their goods as well as the advantage
of being able to benefit from future simplified fast-track customs
procedures.
B & H Worldwide Chief Executive, Mark Bond, said "Our proven
financial solvency and demonstrable compliance with all customs
requirements, including detailed record keeping and high level
security and safety standards, have ensured that B & H continues
to remain at the
cutting edge of superior service quality within our specialist
field of
global logistics." |
